Here are 5 short but beautiful duas taught to us by our Holy Imams (a.s):

1. Imam Ali (a.s) advising a paralyzed man who was weeping over mistreating his father to recite the following:
يَا مَنْ حَيْثُ مَا دُعِي اجَابَ، يَا مُفَتِّحَ ٱلابْوَابِ
“O Opener of all doors! O He Who answers wherever He is called upon!”
– Dua Mashlool – the Supplication of the Paralyzed and/or the supplication of the youth stricken for his sin

2. A short & beautiful dua by the 4th Holy Imam, Imam Zain Al-Abideen (as), to help ease and remove one’s worries and anxiety
يَا فَارِجَ الْهَمِّ وَكَاشِفَ الغَمِّ
“Reliever of worry! O Remover of grief!”

3. The 5th Holy Imam, Imam Al-Baqir (a.s), declaring his absolute loyalty to the martyr Imam Hussain (a.s) and the rest of the Ahlulbayt (a.s)
(Recommended to recite this dua for 40 days to help overcome our trials & tribulations)
أَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ
“Peace be upon you, O Aba Abdillah.”
Note: The Prophet (S.A.W.S) is reported to have said, “By HE (S.W.T) who sent me as a Prophet with truth that the remembrance of Hussain ibne Ali (a.s), is greater in heaven than on earth. On the right of Allah (S.W.T)’s throne, he [Hussain (a.s)] is written as ‘the lamp of guidance and the ship of salvation’.” (Bihar al-Anwar, v.36)
